December 21, 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the People's Republic of China and the Commonwealth of Australia, and on December 8, David Wei, Co-founder and Design Director of HATCH Hanzi Architecture, was invited to participate in the 2022 China-Australia Low Carbon Building Industry Exchange Salon hosted by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission and co-organized by DJSER, a ground builder, to give his insights on the future of green cities. At the end of the event, Ms. Liu Bing, Deputy Consul-General of the Australian Consulate General in Shanghai, presented honorary certificates to David Wei and other Chinese and Australian design representatives to thank them for their courage in the global green and low-carbon transition and their insistence on fulfilling their industry responsibilities and obligations, as well as to continue to write a new chapter in the friendly relationship between China and Australia from a new historical starting point.
