RIBAxUCL | David WEI was invited to speak on UCL Bartlett Alumni Shanghai Event
The Bartlett School of Architecture (The Bartlett) is affiliated to University College London (UCL) and is recognized as one of the top and most influential architecture schools in the world. As one of the oldest but most radical faculties of its kind, the Bartlett has built a reputation for education and research that draws students and academics from across the world.

On December 17, 2020, RIBA and UCL Bartlett School of Architecture jointly held a theme activity on residential space and breakthrough thinking in Roca Shanghai Art Gallery. Many outstanding architects delivered their speeches at this event.

"When I was studying in the Bartlett, I started a "crazy" journey of design exploration. This RIBA x UCL Alumni event is like a grand family gathering of our UCL Bartlett students, where RIBA brought together our old and new friends. I believe that in the future academic communication or work, we will from closer ties, so that our big family will become more cohesive and influential in the Chinese architecture industry, and jointly promote the development of Chinese architectural design innovation."
—— David Wei, Co-founder & Design Director of HATCH
