On 5th June, the forum ‘Old Space - New Community: Prying “Big Connections” with “Micro-Renovation”’ was held at STUDIO 9, co-presented by STUDIO 9 and i-TALK, in which HATCH Founder, David Wei, and two other famous designers discussed how design can activate the emotional potential of space through real projects in the context of urban stock renewal. Mr Wei Hongtao, founder of HATCH, was the guest of honour, and together with two other renowned designers, explored through real projects how design can activate the emotional potential of space and reconstruct the relationship between people and places in the context of urban stock renewal.
