David Wei, co-founder of HATCH Architects, was invited to attend the Golden50 Night of Wallpaper＊, a celebration of friendship and connection, where he joined more than 90 designers to recount the past and current landscape of Chinese design. 50 issues of physical magazines and consistently high standards of integrated media practice - all to realize the vision of Wallpaper＊ since its inception - to advance the process of design in China. That evening, David also conveyed a message: "I think the golden age of China's design industry is coming, nowadays we pay more attention to the value of emotion, time and experience, which need to be carried and supported by good design, and good designers will get better and better."
